The most coveted wine in 2009 was undoubtedly Lafite Rothschild. Due to extreme interest from Asia for this particular wine, getting a case proved to be harder than ever! A few lucky people where still able to acquire a bottle of the liquid gold at the release price and doubled their investment in less than a month. Parker gave this wine a potential 100 out of 100 score alongside with a few other wines. These wines are unlike the Lafite, still available at reasonable prices. A nice example would be Chateau Leoville Las Cases. Its value will undoubtedly increase over the years and is price-quality wise a lot more interesting...
The question to ask is: why spend 1000 euros more if both wines are equal in quality?
